Runways and Marketplace Friday Night

Friday night included some of my favorite shows of the week. To start off the evening, Priscilla Barroso of Crowned Bird showed her quirky and cute collection. I think the most charming thing about her work is how the style so perfectly emulates her personality. You can recognize her design in each and every piece but she never fails to deliver fresh concepts. I interviewed Barroso earlier this year in Designers to Watch post, where you can read more about her.

Additionally, a few phrases from graphic tees in this show held a lasting influence and were used throughout the week by the likes of Matt Swinney. You can read more about Isabella Rose Taylor in my Designers to Watch post.
