Runways and Marketplace Friday Night

Friday night included some of my favorite shows of the week. To start off the evening, Priscilla Barroso of Crowned Bird showed her quirky and cute collection. I think the most charming thing about her work is how the style so perfectly emulates her personality. You can recognize her design in each and every piece but she never fails to deliver fresh concepts. I interviewed Barroso earlier this year in Designers to Watch post, where you can read more about her.

Runways and Marketplace Thursday Night

Noir and Encore

Last Saturday a sophisticated crowd dressed in black heralded the arrival of Austin Fashion Week at Noir.  But in the sea of dark elegance, the runway was illuminated as Austin’s most prestigious designers sent a refreshing spectrum of white down the runway.
